1967 Camaro Restoration Project

When I get this car done, I want it to have a ROCK'IN stereo. I guess in 1967 "stereo" was quite new on the market as was FM radio. If you had an 8-track in your car you were really hot stuff. There was only one speaker cutout on the rear deck and just some small holes for the other speaker. I robbed a speaker off the old car to use as a template, since the hole pattern for a 6X9 speaker has remained the same for all these years, and cut out the deck for the other speaker. Hmmmmm,,,,I'm thinking subwoofer in here somewhere also.
The time has come to take this project to another phase. After installing the off road tires again my buddy Dale and I loaded the car up for the trip to Painter Franks place. Everything went without a hitch.
At last, the car is warm amd snug at the body and paint shop. It's going to live here for 4 to 6 weeks and that will give me some time to get some of my own things done and then start on the motor and transmission re-building process.
Frank's not wasting any time with the body work.
Two coats done, and more to come.
