1967 Camaro Restoration Project

Yet another set back. The old wiper motor did not work correctly. I ordered a new one from a local parts store only to find out that it would not work. There was no flange on it for mounting the washer pump. After lots of research I found out that all the reman units out there were like this. Not wanting to spend over twice the price for one from a Camaro supplier, I decided to drill out the rivits on both motors and swap the plates over from the old one to the new one. Worked like a charm. Randy-rigging at it's best.
It's hard to see but thats the wiper motor, installed and working fine.
The front seats are installed now. They look real nice.
The passenger door panel went on real smoothly. That is,, after we ordered the mounting chrome strips. Just one more thing we could not foresee needing when we made the list of parts needed for the interior. You try to think of and list EVERY single part you will need to build an interior of a car and you'll see what I mean. LoL
The rear seat is ready and waiting to be installed.
The drivers door panel is installed.
And so is the rear seat.
The car is just about done at Painter Frank's, It will be coming back in a few days.
Wow is that a shine. You can see the red 59 Impala in the next bay.
Had to add a few GM decals and stickers.
The new owners came over for one last look while the car was still at the paint shop. From the looks of the faces,, I think they are pleased.
