The front end is going together nicely.

Door handles and rear view mirrors are installed.

The tail lights and rear bumper are done.

The headliner was installed the other day and came out perfect. Now on to the glass and the rest of the interior.

Now we have sunvisors and a rear view mirror installed.

The car is comming together nicely and is looking so cool, I could not resist posting another picture of the engine and front badge.

The carpet, seat belts and drivers seat are installed now.

The windshield piller trim pieces are in. I had my doubts about them being chrome but I think they turned out nice and added just a certain amount of flair without sticking out to much.

The glass guy was over the other evening and installed the rear glass, windshield, and all the window stainless trim.

The window frame pieces came back from the chrome shop and now the vent windows are put back together and are ready to go back in the car.

The driver's side vent window is installed......

.....And so is the passenger side vent window as well as the door glass.

Just can't get over how well this thing looks from the front.

Another setback. Don't know how it happened but the speedometer cable somehow got pinched in between the frame and the body and it twisted the end off it. Even though it's another setback,, all in all, we have had very few for a build such as this.

Even after replacing the speedometer cable it still did not work quite right so we had to break down and buy a new speedometer head. We tried to save money early in the build by repairing the old one but it just didn't work out.

Another step back.. the wiper linkage turned out to be defective, it let the wiper arm go down past the cowel panel. Good thing there were rags under the wiper blades when it was tested.

Out with the bad one....

...In with a new one.

And now we have a nice set windshield wipers.
