I've taken a break for a while, got kinda burnt out, but got back on the project and now have the engine running and all the electricals tested and checked out.

Today, September 3nd 2012, six days shy of two years on this project, I'm going to roll this car out of my garage under it's own power. But I think I need a steering wheel and some wheels, tires first.

Look at this big empty space in my garage,, where's the car....

.... right out here, running on it's own.

I moved the car to my alignment bay to get the front wheels straight and take care of a exhaust leak that I didn't want to deal with on my back.

Back on the garage side again,, and I've got the inner fenders on......

...... as well as the rest of the front sheet metal.
It won't be long and I'll be ready to ship this car back to Painter Frank to do the next phase of the project.

I came across a set of steel Ralley rims and some hubcaps and rings. They need blasted and painted but they are in decent shape and will get this project back on the road in respectable style.

Rims are painted and ready to go.

Moving day. The Camaro is off to the paint shop.

Back at Painter Frank's place. It's been a while since the Camaro's been here,
and it's been a lot of work later.

The Camaro is sharing the stable with a couple of classic cars,
a 1970 Ford Torino Cobra, 429cid 4 speed,
and a 1959 Chevy Impala Covertible.
