Starting to work on the dash again now. I've got the firewall mat in place as well as the defroster duct, steering column, and the gas pedel. Most everything is fitting pretty nice, but only after installing and removing each piece at least 3 times to make modifications to the fit. Anybody who thinks this is "text book" work is on a pipe dream and has been watching to many of those car T.V. shows. Trust me, they're never going to show you when things go wrong but when they do go wrong,, and they will,, you have to be able to figure how to make it right.

Hey buddy,, hold that heater box up there for me please.

I got the heater box installed, as well as the body to frame ground strap. There are so many little things to do the list is endless.

Now to re-assemble the tail lights with new bezels.

And a quick test fit to make sure they fit correctly.

Re-assemble the headlight buckets.

Re-assemble and install the wiper motor and linkage.

Had to look at the old car to see exactly how the dome light harness was run but now its in.

Heater controls from old blue before clean up...

...and after clean up and installed.

The dimmer switch had to be located, holes drilled, and installed.

We got some switches and dash vents now....

....as well as a glove box.
